👉 "Shape Of Grief" lyrics delve into a variety of dark and introspective themes, including deep sorrow over personal losses, often accompanied by feelings of emptiness and despair.
Feelings of isolation and alienation are frequent, often connected to grief or personal struggles.
The overall mood of the album is one of darkness and despair, with imagery of shadows, darkness and the sea often used to convey the emotions.
Suffering and pain are inevitable parts of life, and that individuals must come to terms with this.

Accompanied by the beautiful voice of Elisabetta Marchetti (ex Inno, Beth & The Hangman) and, once again, by the evocative cello of Adriano Ancarani, the second single "Days of Cold Sleep", extract from the Tethra's upcoming album "Withered Heart Standing", is a very different song from the first single "Liminal", where the sound becomes darker while the lyrics dig even deeper touching on a topic and a situation that we have all experienced in recent years.
"There are days when we are gripped by an uncontrollable feeling of cold right down to our bones even if outside the weather is warm. Days when you lock yourself at home, lying in bed, waiting for the storm that each of us carries inside us to calm down. Because no one has come out unscathed from these years, years that left us irremediably more fragile and without certainties.
The video for "Days Of Cold Sleep" wants to celebrate the part of us that will never come back but, above all, the battle against that creeping disease that transformed us into the people we have become to overcome this void that has changed us forever. Like a withered heart standing."

👉 'Losing What’s Left Of Us' is a minimalistic album in which every note has been carefully picked in order to convey a sense of dissolution and austere loss.
👉 The album is divided in three stylistically differentiated chapters arked by the two different interludes.
The three chapters show a progressive hybridization of the main musical influences as some sort of inherent entropy.
The album as a whole also presents a somewhat symmetrical and quasi-fractal hidden structure that is meant to symbolically keep the underlying
balance of life itself without compromising the whole downhill concept we tried to tackle.
👉 'Losing What’s Left Of Us' is both a dirge for the fleeting trail of tombs we leave on this earth as we are passing by and an ode to the uncertainty and transience we cannot leave behind.

👉 For The Storms is a post doom-death/ sludge metal project born in 2019 in Brescia (Italy).
👉 The project comes from the necessity and desire to narrate one's experiences, thoughts, and conjectures on existence and non-existence.
The music, born as a simple outlet, has now evolved into a much more mature self-analysis, culminating in a poetic-philosophical exposition on mortality, change, and individual definition.
👉 The band's music writing is hardly classifiable in a classic list of metal subgenres, and it fits perfectly into what seems to be a new wave that has developed in recent years from sludge and doom, as well as hardcore and post-metal, especially in central and northern Europe.
👉 The style characterized by contrasting sounds, heavy riffs, and expansive atmospheres ranging from the heaviness of a thousand mountains to the lightness of emptiness.
This emerging genre, besides being a hybrid taking a lot from other subgenres, also constitutes a sensitive deepening of artistic meaning and values contemporary and traditional culture and personal feelings, pushing back against the superficiality and ignorance that seem to stir in today’s music.

👉 "Blackshift" is the second full length album by Ghostheart Nebula, successor of the well acclaimed "Ascension" (2021),
in which we see the official entry of Lucia Amelia Emmanueli into the lineup as female singer.
If blueshift and redshift represent a change in the spectrum in the space-time linear dimension, "Blackshift" moves itself off to another reality going down into the deepness of the blackest voidness.
A journey that starts embracing the nothingness with "Sunya", referring to the concept of "sunyata", the Indian philosophical concept for emptiness.
The album features cosmic themes as well as their reflection on human feelings "The Opal Tide" & "Naught, I"
(with an excerpt from Carl Sagan’s "Pale Blue Dot" speech) and quantum entanglement theories "Infinite Mirror".
Despair, sorrow and disillusion carry the title track "Blackshift" and "Traces" which is the most desperate track of the album in its restless search for leaving a mark,
an epitaph of an ephemeral existence. The last track "Orphan Of Light" faces the feminine/masculine dualism theme also in the coordinates of a mother and his son
in the reunion process after the painful departure of the Mother Light who threw the hopeless son into the void.

While 'Maunder Minimum' is a crawling beast that heralds the beginning of a new ice age,
'Through Ages of Colossal Embitterment' transforms into Death Doom more quickly,
symbolizing a furious human soul that is aliennated from the outside world.
👉 Calliophis continues down their dark and sorrowful path, delving further into the realm of slow Death Doom Metal.
The band opens the next chapter in its musical career with these new songs, carrying on from their previous release, "Liquid Darkness".

The themes remain the same, yet are painted with a deeper shade of black than before. There is still hope, but it is a fleeting hope of an end to it all.
It was again recorded in various locations, the drums in M.K. Recording in Bamberg, Germany by Matthias Burgis,
and all the rest by Sami Rautio in various locations in Finland. It is mixed and mastered by Sami Rautio. There is no hope.

👉 After the well received debut 'The Weight Of Eternity', released in 2022, which featured mostly material written nine years earlier, Y.S. And M.V. found themselves rediscovering a love for all things slow and unexpectedly tapped into a wellspring of inspiration. Following in the wake of 'The Weight Of Eternity', 'Rot Of The Soul' builds upon the style and atmosphere present on the debut while at times venturing beyond the typical territories of doom metal.
👉 Spanning over 55 minutes, it takes the listener on a journey through the mind of someone suffering from severe depression, haunted by existential dread and sinking ever deeper into a mire of negation and worldly rejection. F.S., whose ethereal, haunting vocals could already be heard on The Weight of Eternity, lent her voice once more for the new album. With her vocals being such an integral part of the sound of Angmodnes, it was time to fully bring F.S. into the fold as a band member.

🔴 1] "Fee avoidance suspicion", because we had no shipping policies settled, in the aim to be able to propose you a precise and case by case shipping price to insure you to pay the right price.
👉 We had to settled the shipping policies with generic prices that don't reflect the reality, i.e., 10€ for a CD, 15€ for a vinyl in Europe, etc...
Having and maintaining regularly the realistic prices to be set automatically is impossible and insane, because:
- Shipping prices are often subject to variations and/or restrictions!
- Multiple shipping methods and/or carriers can be used according your location, wishes and needs!
🔴 2] "Redirection of buyers away from Discogs", because we have set our profile page with our links on it, website, Bandcamp, M9, etc., ...
👉 We had to remove all our links, preventing you to find us easily on the Internet.
🔴 3] "Unfair competition suspicion", because we didn't raise our prices the last time they ask sellers to do it.
👉 We had to raise our prices from 1,00€ on each CD to 2,00€ on each vinyl to match their requirements!

👉 We've just released the new Rise to the Sky's 'Two Years Of Grief' album in its whole, go enjoy! 🤘
The band was recently formed by Gebre and Rigel, bandmates since 1995 and founders of the Doom Metal sextet Helevorn.
They are surrounded in the project by Tomeu Crespí (Golgotha) and Miguel Serra.
The musical inspiration is taken from the old school greats of Doom/Death metal from the ’90s, referring to well-known bands.
👉 The album is divided into eight pieces, with an approximate duration of 9 minutes each.
It’s a conceptual journey through different scenarios with the common denominator on the pain, the anguish,
the hypersensitivity and the struggle with a highly functioning depression, which is absolutely based on a real condition.
👉 The music can be approximated as Doom/Death Metal with a strong Old school vibe, here bands like My Dying Bride and early Anathema
and early Opeth might come to mind, and maybe among the current scene we could mention Shape of Despair, Ahab and Doom Vs.
"In general, we feel that this massive crushing riffs, slow-but-not-funeral vibe, multi layered keys, heavily distorted bass and crushing growls are our signature."

WELCOME SOLNEGRE! 🤘
The band was formed in 2021 by Thijs (Welmoed, Misanthropia) and Robster (ex-Southern Werewolf Farm).
William (FAAL, Spina Bifida, 666 Shades of Shit, ex-Foretold, ex-Domestic Violence) joined them on the project.
👉 The Asklepeion project was born in the beginning of 2021 when Thijs and Robster had the idea to start a musical project to keep themselves busy during the pandemic.
They write some songs, record them at home and release an EP.
Both fans of 90’s (melodic) Black Metal, the songwriting quickly went that way and the decision was made to stick with it
and make an album full of Melodic Black Metal with a 90’s but also a modern vibe.
After the songwriting was done and the recordings were finished the search for a drummer and a vocalist started.
William was enthusiastic to join the project and do the vocals.
Whilst playing and recording keyboards, the idea of programming the drums was born,
to avoid logistical and time-based issues, so Thijs performed this task as well.
The album lyrically consists themes of mythology, diseases and pandemics from the middle-ages, downfall of mankind, questioning religion and mercy.
We choose not to print them. When it comes to writing and production, we strive for a neat listenable, yet not overproduced end result.

The project is brought to life by phenomenal performances of well-known guest vocalists and musicians from several countries.
👉 LORD OF SHADOWS' debut album, 'Echoes of Yore', is a monolithic tribute to the Gothic Doom genre by a collection of artists that have gathered in the orbit of Valentin.
To bring Shadows' lyrics to life, Mike Lamb (Sojourner/Remina/Light Field Reverie) wrote and recorded 7 tracks of pure Gothic Doom wreathed in the phenomenal performances of guest vocalists Heike Langhans (ex-Draconian/Remina/Light Field Reverie/ex-ISON), Aaron Stainthorpe (My Dying Bride), and Emilio Crespo (Sojourner).
Together these elements provide a showcase for Shadows' lyrics to weave a tragic story of love, loss, and sorrow.
'Shadows' says about the album: "The album 'Echoes of Yore' is meant to overpower both the sacred and the profane, in order to establish itself as self-aware,
redeeming its own existence at the very edge of doom genre itself... Following the hourglass of memories, from 'Her lips were poetry and doom...' through to 'Your blood weighs heavy...',
each song is inspired by my own life and is connected to the next one, to form one sorrowful story of love and the acceptance of one's fate."
More than this, 'Echoes of Yore...' builds its own universe of tragedy and doom, and offers the final surrender to the chaotic nature of the artist.
Left with nothing more than the memory of her, having extinguished half of his own twin-flame, where the perception of love and
death become equal to each other: her kiss means sacrifice, his art shall be the penance...

WELCOME LORD OF SHADOWS! 🤘
Adrien has composed multiple albums over the past 25 years in varying shades of dark metal.
👉 Notably signed by Oaken Shield/Adipocere in 2018 for the vinyl edition of Beredsamkeit. Of the most prolix and restive, Vociferian imposed its style and its variations.
As example through its evolution with its previous opus "Ɔ d ɔ ʀ a", a kind of musical tribute to Orwell's "1984" in the era of social media. Following this work, Vociferian bowed out.
It is therefore an unexpected return that we are witnessing with "L'Os Qui Germe", a creation filled with a need for intense expression marked by an episode of deep depression tangible in its identity.

Sergio González Catalán takes the atmospheric styles of Black and Melodic
Doom/Death Metal and mixes them together to create a sound of his own.
👉 "Hating Life" is the second full length album after its debut in mid-2022.
The band explores the subject of depression through the most sincere and straightforward way through the seven tracks of the album.
Sergio says of the album: “I wrote this album during one of the lowest points in my life, my existence was miserable, and I was almost at a breaking point.
I sincerely hope this album helps in some way other people that are coping with depression”.

The band is containing members from bands like Nox Aurea, The Cold Existence, Rimfrost, Draconian, Doom: VS.
The sound is based on melodic compositions decorated with catchy guitar solos and atmospheric keyboards, with a harmonious blend of clean vocals and growl.
At the same time, the symphonic sound is a key element, which gives the sound a special expression, epic and originality.

The band, formed in 2017, has a crushingly heavy dark atmospheric sound and powerful melodic elements taking much influence from the melancholic UK gothic doom scene from the 90s.
👉 The first full length album combines 4 tracks recorded in 2022 with the independently released initial EP recorded in 2018.
Blackened yet melodic and slow yet intense, the songs are a beautiful catalyst for lonely and melancholic moments to escape the outside. The lyrical side of the music have contemporary pagan themes, touching on subjects of nature and society, especially isolation, darkness and self introspection, a critique of this modern societal landscape and a view of one's place within it.

This is doom death metal of the highest standard, cruel and loud, but not devoid of a share of atmosphere, and, most important, individuality and unique mood.
After four years they are releasing their third full length album "Liquid Darkness". Both on sound and songwriting, with the six songs the band goes one step further and presents its very own interpretation of heavy but melodic Death Doom Metal. The focus is on atmospheric and dark parts, always intensified by the distinctive growls. Again some lyrics are inspired by international fables and myths. "Krakonoš" is based on the saga of Rübezahl, a spirit of the Giant Mountains in Czech Republic. "The Art of Shudder" is inspired by the well-known fable "The Story of the Youth Who Went Forth to Learn What Fear Was" and with the song "Munk (Warm Heart)" Calliophis brings its Munk trilogy, based on "The Heart of Stone", to an end.
